in packaging solutions
Since it was founded in 1957 by Eugenie and Joseph Nittel, NITTEL Halle GmbH has established itself as a specialist in plastic inner covers. Starting with round bottom bags for steel drums, we now supply more than 4,000 different inner covers for industry worldwide. Our success is based on the trust of our customers and long-term cooperation with our partners.
At the site in Halle an der Saale, around 100 employees work on a 1.8-hectare company site. With two production sites and modern infrastructure, we produce around 12 million inline skates annually — 66% for the food and pharmaceutical industries, the rest for the chemical industry.

Halle an der Saale, a city of around 250,000 inhabitants and only around 170 kilometers away from Berlin by motorway, is part of the Leipzig-Halle metropolitan area. Together with Leipzig, Halle forms the metropolitan region of Central Germany, a center for science and business with over one million inhabitants. Halle is one of the few cities in Germany to offer a largely intact historic city center and is located in the heart of the “chemical triangle” between Schkopau and Bitterfeld-Wolfen. Our production site is only 600 meters away from the Dölauer Heide recreation area.
